Highland Springs
The Lake County Watershed Protection District owns approximately 3,200 acres of property in the Adobe Creek Watershed commonly known as the Highland Springs Recreation Area.

Park Restrictions
- No potable water is available
- No overnight camping
- No vehicle use past locked gates
- Do not block gates or roads
- No OHV use is allowed within the area
- Discharge of firearms unless a hunting permit has been obtained
Park Location
(map)The Highland Springs Park and Recreation Area is located approximately two hours from the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay Area regions as well as Santa Rosa, Sonoma and Ukiah. The area is five miles from the City of Lakeport and the community of Kelseyville. The City of Clearlake is approximately 30 miles to the east. The signed entrance can be reached from Highway 29 via Highland Springs Road to the Highland Springs/Old Toll Road split. From Santa Rosa or St Helena, visitors can also take Highway 29 to Highland Springs Road to the entrance.
