Special Telephone Services for Deaf and Disabled persons:
Requirements: 1) Must live in a home with telephone service, 2) Must be certified as having permanent or temporary disability that makes it difficult for you to use the phone.

Visible signal that flashes when phone rings
Amplifier to make callers' voices louder
Speech Amplifier that makes your voice sound louder over the phone
Big Button Telephone or a large number overlay for a standard phone
Speakerphones, hands-free phones, speed calling service Assistance for customers in need of obtaining TDD units.
Directory assistance charge exemption
Operator assistance dialing w/TTY Toll Discount
California Relay Service to call person w/TTY or to call from TTY. (Dial 1-800-735-2929) Non-Pacific Bell Customers can call 1-800-821-2585 (GTE) or 1-800-924-9599 (other) for these services.
