The Mission of the Safe Haven Clubhouse:
A building where people with mental illness can come to do social activities, make new friendships, learn living skills, social skills, vocational skills and to promote growth.

Safe Haven Clubhouse promotes the partnership model of psychiatric rehabilitation (the Clubhouse.) This partnership is formed when individuals, correctly identified as members, play a critical role in the overall operations and governance of the Safe Haven Clubhouse.

The Club is working towards the following services:
*Vocational Training - staff and members work side by side to complete the daily operations of the club
*Employment Component - provides members the opportunity to work in real jobs in the Clearlake area
*Housing Referrals - until housing can be made available in the community for members
*Social Activities - operating evenings, weekends and on all holidays
*Education - teaching computer skills, high school equivalency and making referrals to Yuba Community College as wanted
*Wellness Initiative - provides exercise, fitness and diet
*Art Committee - sponsors and displays the work of Safe Haven artists
*Young Adult Team - developing and planning future events
*Peer Support Project - provides outreach services to those in the hospital, at home and a telephone line for peer support
*A community that provides friendships, hope and dignity
