Our emergency assistance program is relocated at the Queen of Peace Church, in the Good Shephard Bldg. 14435 Uhl Ave, Clearlake, Ca. Office #707-994-6618
Emergency Assistance is on Tuesday and Thursday only between the hours of 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The thrift store will no longer provide any assistance at the store location. If clothing or other items are needed from the store, a voucher will be issued from the new location to take to the store and a volunteer will assist is obtaining the items on the voucher.
We are mainly a Food & Clothing Assistance Program, however, other assistance may be available on a case by case basis upon board approval. A picture ID is required along with proof of Lake County Street address. Because we serve EMERGENCY NEEDS, assistance is available once a year without documentation, subsequent assistance may be provided subject to written documentation of the emergency.
We define an emergency as something that happened this month, did not happen last month, is not expected to happen again, and caused a reduction in income available to pay living expenses.
