Education Program

Lake County Animal Care & Control realizes that the problem of pet overpopulation and abuse can be drastically reduced with the help of the public. In order to get that help we need to educate the public and more importantly, make sure that our children are aware of the problem and understand what responsible pet ownership is. We currently visit schools in our county giving age appropriate education on all the issues related to pets We also attend .homeowner association meetings, rotory club meetings, specialty club meetings ect.. When invited, to answer questions and inform our citizens of the ongoing problems in their communities.
