The Lakeport Library presents a film of the Grimm’s Fairy Tale called “The Devil’s Three Golden Hairs”, in the Children’s Room, on Wednesday Feb. 17th, from 6:00-8:00pm. Everyone is invited to attend, but the intended audience is children, younger teens, and parents. Refreshments and free bookmarks will be provided.

Census Takers Needed! Recruiting efforts are underway to hire field staff to assist and complete the 2010 Decennial Census.
Census Day is April 1, 2010. The County of Lake is encouraging all residents to be counted in the 2010 Census. If the Lake County population is undercounted, our County will be in jeopardy of not receiving its fair share of funding for public services such as: emergency services, roads, schools, hospitals, and job training.
