LAKE COUNTY – As the warmth of summer approaches, families begin planning trips to their favorite vacation spot, and vacation memories are passed down through generations in Lake County; parents take their children back to Clear Lake or Cobb Mountain, where their own childhood summers were spent, to make new family memories.
Whether they come to fish, splash, hike, or just lie under the sun, summer activities abound – from music events, art shows, and community festivals to classic boat and car exhibits, holiday parades, fireworks, and even an authentic county fair and a rodeo.
