Steampunk Craft Workshop for Teens

Lakeport – For teens, a steampunk craft workshop at Lakeport Library, 1425 N. High St, Lakeport. June 23, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. as part of the library’s teen summer program, “Own the Night.” The workshop is free and all supplies will be provided to create a pin to wear or attach to a book bag. Steampunk jewelry grew out of steampunk literature, briefly described as Victorian science fiction with steam-powered machines. Steampunk jewelry combines parts and pieces of antique timepieces, skeleton keys and small brass findings for jewelry with an industrial look.
