Joe Waite Gun Room

The Joe Waite Gun Room features a fine display of deringers, pistols and rifles. Notable specimens include "Old Fremont," a Kentucky Long Rifle used by Colonel Brice Martin in the Revolutionary War, a "Pepper Box Six Shot" barrel revolver, a Manton 44 caliber flintlock pocket pistol, rifles with bores from 410  to 10 gauge (both double barreled shotguns), and a 60 caliber blackpowder charge single bolt action rifle from 1842. Also in the room is a very large six point rack of the last Roosevelt elk shot in Lake County.
