2010 is the year of the census.  The census website has more information.

The Lakeport Library presents a film of the Grimm’s Fairy Tale called “The Devil’s Three Golden Hairs”, in the Children’s Room, on Wednesday Feb. 17th, from 6:00-8:00pm. Everyone is invited to attend, but the intended audience is children, younger teens, and parents. Refreshments and free bookmarks will be provided. Christy Zurcher is hosting the event as part of her senior project.  Christy’s career goal is to become a librarian and is working with the library staff on several projects in the library.  She is learning book ordering, displays, and publicity.

The next training for literacy tutors will take place
February 22, March 1 and March 8,  2010.
