Alcohol and Other Drug Services (AODS), is a Division of Lake County Department of Mental Health Services. AODS provides alcohol and drug abuse prevention, diversion and treatment services in Lake County and contracts with local provider agencies. We offer individual and group counseling and substance abuse education for adults and adolescents. We also provide referrals to detox or residential treatment centers. Fees for treatment services are based on a sliding scale. Medi-Cal is accepted.
AODS also provides substance abuse prevention services for the community. Using a community cooperation approach, we provide alcohol/drug free alternative activities for youth including Friday Night Live/Club Live, peer leadership, classroom activities, etc; information dissemination utilizing media, brochures, presentations, etc.; problem identification for employers and employee assistance programs, mentoring and referral to services.
We offer bi-lingual services in English and Spanish. Please call our office to request information or services.
