Lake County Fire Safe Council
The Lake County Fire Safe Council is pleased to announce the Wildfire Safety Expo, held for its fourth year at Kelseyville Lumber Home Improvement Center, 3555 N. Main St. in Kelseyville. Be sure to mark Saturday, May 18, 2013, from 10 AM to 2 PM on your calendar! Partners for the event include Lake County's local, state, and federal fire agencies.
The day will provide “one-stop shopping” for fire prevention and mitigation information. Events will include firefighting demonstrations, a vendor fair, and activities for children, including a bounce house! Antique and modern fire equipment will be on display -- Smokey Bear and Sparky the Fire Dog will be there, too.
The vendor fair will provide information on fuel reduction services, landscaping tips, fire resistant building materials, large animal evacuation, and an array of fire-related safety information and products. There will also be a drawing for prizes throughout the event.
Visit the Wildfire Safety Expo and learn what you can do to help protect your home in a wildfire.
Admission is FREE for this family friendly event!

Seconds Count!
In an emergency, whether it’s a medical crisis or a house fire, minutes and seconds really do count. Time matters. Mere seconds can make a difference in whether a life is saved or a home is lost.
If you call 9-1-1, can our emergency responders find you?
