This committee provides guidance and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on matters related to Clear Lake. It consists of no fewer than 7 and no more than 23 members in the following categories:

Water Resources Department
City of Clearlake
City of Lakeport
Lake County Chamber of Commerce
Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake
Robinson Rancheria
Big Valley Rancheria
Elem Indian Colony
California Department of Fish and Game

Members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors for the following categories:

Agriculture
Wildlife
Navigation and Recreation
Habitat-Ecology
Environmental Restoration
Rimland Property Owners
Aquatic Plants
Fishery
Water Quality

All Board appointments are for a two year term of service.
Meetings are held monthly, alternating between Lakeport and Clearlake locations.
